China's amusement and theme parks grew 11 percent year-on-year in revenues over the past five years, with promising performance expected in the years ahead, according to industrial sources.
Organizers of the annual China (Guangzhou) International Game and Amusement Exhibition, said revenue of the industry will reach $4.8 billion by 2020.
More than 400 international companies in the industry, from 30 countries and regions, will take part in the annual exhibition, scheduled for March 9-11.
"With China's rapid urban expansion, there are plenty of opportunities for market growth for the industry in the years ahead," said Wang Zhaoyun, chairman of Guangdong Grandeur International Exhibition Group.
