The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) announced its first batch of projects on Thursday, supported by a total of $509 million in loans, news portal caixin.com reported.
The multilateral development bank is scheduled to have its first annual meeting on Saturday.
The four projects are based in Bangladesh, Indonesia, Pakistan and Tajikistan. These projects will be discussed and approved on Friday, according to Caixin.
The bank said it expects total lending in 2016 will be around $1.2 billion.
