Vietnam will hold the fifth export fair of Zhejiang, one of the most prosperous provinces in China, in capital Hanoi on Aug. 4-6, 2016, said Vietnam National Trade Fair and Advertising Company (Vinexad), the event's organizer on Tuesday.
Under the theme "Zhejiang Products-Global Outreach," the fair will display products of nearly 100 reputable businesses from Zhejiang province, which represent "Zhejiang Made" symbol, said Vinexad general director Nguyen Khac Luan at a press conference.
Around 150 booths at the elaborately-organized fair will showcase three outstanding industries of electric and electronic machines, equipments; building materials, interior decoration, hardware; as well as textile materials and consumer products, said Luan.
Hundreds of products will be displayed including machines from Wenzhou, Taizhou, hardware from Xiaxing, garment-textile materials from Hangzhou, Huzhou, and handicraft from Yiwu among others.
These products have been popular and have received positive responses of consumers in the Southeast Asia, including those in Vietnam, said the organizer, adding that it is expected that during the fair, Zhejiang will bring attractive feeling of "Zhejiang Made" products to Vietnam and the Southeast Asia.
According to Vinexad, Zhejiang is the province that possesses the most favorable natural conditions in China, lying in China's southeast coast and south of Yangtze Delta. The province has enjoyed rapid economic growth and has established direct external economic ties with over 230 countries and regions worldwide.
From January to May 2016, the province earned 2.13 billion U.S. dollars from exports to Vietnam, up 13.55 percent year-on-year, said the organizer on its website.
