More than 2,700 small and medium-sized companies from over 30 countries and regions will showcase their products in an industrial expo in Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong province, according to the organizers.
The annual China International Small and Medium Enterprises Fair (CISMEF), which focuses on equipment, textile and garment, construction material and furniture, energy saving and cross-border e-commerce, will be held in Guangzhou on Oct 10.
Delegations consisting of officials and business people from Cote d'lvoire, India, South Africa, Nigeria, Bulgaria, Kenya, Myanmar, Mexico, Vietnam, Russia and Poland will attend the fair, looking for opportunities to boost economic ties with China.
"As one of the largest consumer markets, India will strengthen ties with China in terms of cooperation in industrial sectors," said P. Udayakumar, director of planning and marketing of the National Small Industries Corporation Ltd, a government of India enterprise.
The fair, co-hosted by India and Cote d'lvoire, will end on Oct 27.
