Chinese bicycle-sharing platform ofo announced on Monday that it has finalized $130 million in C-round financing, including investors such as Chinese car-sharing service provider Didi Chuxing.
Other investors include Coatue, CITIC Private Equity Funds Management, and other venture capital firms.
Didi Chuxing announced two weeks ago plans to invest tens of millions of dollars into ofo, making it a strategic investor, according to an e-mail ofo sent to the Global Times on Monday.
After launching its service 13 months ago, ofo now covers 200 universities and has 1.8 million users, the company said.
