More airlines such as Lucky Air, Hong Kong Express and Urumqi Air have teamed up with tuniu.com, a Chinese online travel service provider.
Chen Shihong, vice president of the company, said on Tuesday that Tuniu will have more strategic cooperation with these airlines to improve its network at home and abroad.
In a note sent to the Global Times, Tuniu said that it has strategic cooperation agreements with more than 1,000 suppliers in the world, covering more than 640,000 hotels in 201 countries and regions.
Tuniu President Yan Haifeng said the company will target new sectors such as financing, film and television, and wedding services.
