China's major streaming site iQiyi.com and New Oriental, one of the country's largest providers of private education, have entered an agreement to collaborate in areas such as exam training, English language learning and elementary education, executives of both companies told a forum in Beijing on Tuesday.
Online lectures will be provided to students who seek to appear for entrance exams in China.
IQiyi has also reached an agreement with xsteach.com, a leading site for vocational education.
The moves reflect iQiyi's interest in the online paid education market. The website's education channel now gets 35 million daily "clicks".
