The Caixin/Markit Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) for the non-manufacturing sector for January, a private gauge of China's non-manufacturing activity, is set to be released on Monday.
The Caixin non-manufacturing PMI posted its strongest rise in 17 months in December, edging up to 53.4 from 53.1 in November.
On Sunday, the National Bureau of Statistics and the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing announced the official non-manufacturing PMI, which rose to 54.6 in January from 54.5 in December.
The Caixin survey focuses on small and medium-sized enterprises, while the official index targets larger companies.
A reading above 50 indicates an expansion, while one below that level points to a contraction.
