Cleaner gasoline will come to Beijing soon, as domestic oil giant Sinopec completed the replacement of its stocks with VI standard gasoline that is designed to cut emissions, according to media reports on Monday.
The new gasoline will be available at Sinopec's 562 filling stations in the capital starting on March 1, the Economic Information Daily reported.
The pace of oil upgrade is picking up. To meet the quality requirements for new oil products, Sinopec selected Yanshan Petroleum as the main supplier, said Lü Dapeng, the spokesman of Sinopec Group.
