Chinese telecommunications company ZTE reported a slight rise in revenue in 2016, according to the company's annual report released Thursday.
Its full-year operating revenue in 2016 reached 101 billion yuan (14.7 billion U.S. dollars), up 1 percent year on year, and revenue from the domestic market accounted for 57.8 percent of the total, the report said.
Strong performance of mobile data services and consumer business contributed to the growth, according to the report.
The company reported a losses of about 2.4 billion yuan last year after paying a criminal and civil penalty of around 890 million dollars to the U.S. authorities.
U.S. authorities claimed earlier that ZTE and its affiliated entities had illegally shipped telecommunications equipment to certain countries in violation of U.S. regulations.
