Global streaming giant Netflix has reached its first content licensing deal with China's online streaming provider iQIYI, entertainment industry publication Variety reported on Tuesday.
The deal was announced by Netflix's vice president of content acquisition, Robert Roy, on the sidelines of a conference in Indonesia, the report said.
Roy declined to provide further details, noting that "the deal was too new," according to the report.
