China's leading new energy vehicle maker BYD will build an industrial park in Yinchuan, capital of northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, according to official sources.
With a total investment of about 20 billion, BYD Yinchuan Industrial Park covers an area of about 1,000 mu (66 hectares). After its completion and put into production, the annual output value is estimated to exceed 10 billion yuan.
The project will boost the new energy vehicle and rail transportation industries in Yinchuan and is also conductive for industrial structure adjustment of Ningxia.
