The 8th International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum will focus on building a diversified, innovative, and sustainable infrastructure with industry connectivity, an official said here Thursday at a briefing.
The two-day event, to be held early next month in China's Macao Special Administrative Region, is to provide a platform for cooperation and exchanges for global enterprises, investors and professionals, especially for those from the countries along the route of the Belt and Road Initiative and the Portuguese-speaking countries, President of Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute Jackson Chang said at the briefing.
Chinese enterprises, especially those from the Pan-Pearl River Delta Region, known as 9+2, which comprises Guangdong, Hainan, Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan, Hunan, Jiangxi and Fujian provinces and the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, the Hong Kong SAR and Macao SAR, are also invited to participate in the forum.
The agenda of the forum include international industrial capacity cooperation, infrastructure construction and development of industrialization, financial innovation and industrial investment, smart city and sustainable infrastructure development.
