Due to suspected violations of the Counterterrorism Law of the People's Republic of China, 30 networks of STO Express and YTO Express have been closed down, Beijing Business Today reported on Monday.
It said that 24 branches of STO Express and six branches of YTO Express were shut down in Rui'an, a small city in East China's Zhejiang Province. The couriers had not implemented some regulations dealing with inspection of packages and the use of real names.
The report said this is the first time for China to take such action.
