Chinese car-hailing service provider Didi Chuxing announced on Tuesday it will open a new research facility in California to expand its local team.
The company launched Didi Labs in the U.S. in March to focus on artificial intelligence technologies, Didi Chuxing said in an e-mail sent to the Global Times.
The new facility will allow Didi Labs to hire additional engineers and data scientists, the company said.
