LeEco founder Jia Yueting is on the list of dishonest persons on the online system of the Chinese courts and he will be banned from traveling by plane and qualifying for loans and credit cards, domestic news site thepaper.cn reported on Tuesday.
The name of Jia, who stepped down as the CEO of the group's main listed unit in May, was added on Monday for failing to honor legal commitments arising from deals with Ping An Securities.
Those commitments were worth 479 million yuan ($72.37 million). Jia currently resides in the U.S.
