An inland container port in Nairobi, capital of Kenya, which was built by China Road and Bridge Corp, was officially launched on Saturday, according to the Xinhua News Agency.
The port will further boost the cargo-handling capacity of the Mombasa-Nairobi railway and lower logistics costs, the media report noted.
The company started to construct the port on May 1, 2016, according to Xinhua. It's about 3.5 kilometers to the Nairobi rail station.
