German carmaker Mercedes-Benz and Italian luxury car manufacturer Maserati will recall nearly 8,000 imported automobiles in China, the General Administration of Customs said on Tuesday.
Starting June 12, Mercedes-Benz will recall 7,799 GLS SUV and S automobiles manufactured between January 4, 2017 and June 5, 2017 due to a defective lock on the left door.
The company will also recall 25 imported AMG GT automobiles manufactured between March 28, 2017 and July 28, 2017 due to faulty seatbelts.
Starting June 19, due to a defective front subframe, Maserati will recall 12 automobiles made between August 4, 2017 and October 9, 2017, 20 automobiles manufactured between July 31, 2017 and October 26, 2017, and 35 automobiles produced between August 1, 2017 and December 12, 2017.
