Chinese technology giant Xiaomi Corp started selling its Redmi Note 5 smartphones in South Korea on Monday by collaborating with two local largest telecom operators, the Korea Herald reported on Monday.
Available through SK Telecom Co and KT Corp, the Redmi Note 5 comes with a 5.99-inch display and 64GB storage capacity at a listed price of 299,000 won ($265.32).
In addition to the two telecom companies, the Redmi Note 5 is now available for purchase at Lotte's electronics store chain Hi-Mart and CJ Hellovision.
LG Uplus, South Korea's third-largest telecommunications company, is not selling the Xiaomi device at the moment, said the report.
