Li Tao, founder and CEO of Chinese mobile internet technology startup Apus Group, said as China has become an important driver of global economic integration and economic globalization, Chinese internet industry has also become an important engine to drive to global internet industry.
Since it was founded in June 2014, Apus has been actively expanding to the global market and now has 1.2 billion users across more than 200 countries and regions, 69 percent of whom are living in the countries involved in the China-propose Belt and Road Initiative, according to Li.
Li said China's internet industry has developed mature and leading technologies, products and business models in the past 20 years.
"We have developed a strong awareness of service in the Chinese internet market. Chinese internet entrepreneurs tend to be more competitive than some American companies when they expand globally because they have cultivated a strong awareness of service in the competitive domestic market and they are more willing to offer customized and localized services for local companies," Li said.
Li also mentioned under the background of the fourth industrial revolution, China also need to learn advanced knowledge from other countries, especially in the basic science field.
