Guangqi Honda Automobile Co is recalling 373,371 vehicles sold in China due to airbag safety hazards, a statement on the website of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine said on Monday.
The recall will start from April 2 and involve the company's Accord, Fit, Crosstour, City and Everus S1 models.
Guangqi Honda Automobile Co, which is based in Guangzhou, South China's Guangdong Province, is a Chinese automobile manufacturing joint venture company between Guangzhou Automobile Group Co and Japan's Honda .
Automakers recalled more than 20 million defective cars in China in 2017, hitting a new high for the fourth consecutive year, according to media reports.
