Beijing-based handset-maker Xiaomi Inc is seeking a dual listing in the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong, news website pdaily.com reported on Thursday, citing sources close to the matter.
Xiaomi would become the third-largest Chinese listed technology company after Alibaba and Tencent with an estimated market value of about $100 billion, the report said. The listing could come as early as the end of the third quarter, it said. Reuters reported in January that the smartphone maker had tapped CLSA, Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley as joint sponsors for the offering.
