China International Import Expo (CIIE) has signed its first contract with a leading intelligent manufacturer, the organizers said Wednesday.
Tawara Kazuyuki, chairman of the board at Nachi (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.,said that he hopes to show and improve the company's robotic products and technology through the expo.
Nachi is a top company in the robotics industry and will be a highlight of the intelligent and high-end equipment zone of the CIIE.
The zone covers industries such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, energy conservation, 3D printing and new energy equipment.
More than 250 companies have signed letters of intent to take part in the CIIE, according to the CIIE Bureau.
The first CIIE will be held in Shanghai in November, which is expected to bring together thousands of enterprises from more than 100 countries.
