Chinese President Xi Jinping's special envoy and Vice Premier Liu He has arrived in Washington, DC, for trade negotiations on May 15.
The Chinese trade delegation to Washington, led by Liu, consists of members from the country's major economic departments.
Liu will continue to hold consultations with the U.S. economic team headed by the U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin on economic and trade issues between the two countries.
