Changsha (CNS) -- Want to relieve all your stress by shooting angry birds at annoying green pigs (just like the game)? Well, the "Angry Birds" experience is now being provided in real life at Changsha Window of the World since August 30.
The electronic game "Angry Birds" was very popular in China among people ranging from kids in kindergarten to adults.
At the live site in Changsha, which is several hundred times larger than the game on screen, the play mode does not differ too much from its original version.
On a large playground, huge slingshots, bird toys, pig balloons, and castles made of toy bricks are positioned just like in the virtual game. You simply have to shoot the "birds" at the "pigs."
"Everything is arranged just like in the game," said a worker at the park. The huge slingshots are over one meter tall, and all pig balloons were specially ordered.
A player surnamed Lu, who works for local media, said that even with the help of her friends, it was much harder than she had expected to pull the slingshot, not to mention aiming it at the pigs. "It was fun and exciting, especially when the 'bird' was shot out!"
The main purpose for such a real-life game is fun and it offers players an opportunity to let out their pressures in a physical manner, unlike playing an electronic game. The organizers have invited masters of the virtual game to come and give it a try in real-life.
