Beijing (CNS) -- The recent online news that China's J-10B fighter crashed and the pilot died during a trial flight in Yanliang has been proven false, according to the China Air Force authority, on October 9.
Falsified by a website employee in Beijing and released on his personal blog, the news was widely spread before serious verification took place.
An official of the State Internet News Coordination Bureau announced on September 30, that such illegal forgeries must be banned and severely punished to preserve an orderly web environment.
The official also urged local administrations to investigate the violators and websites with regard to the false news of the fighter crash.
