Guangzhou (CNS) -- A recreational vehicle (RV) rental agency has been warmly welcomed by residents in Guangzhou, reported China New Service (CNS) on Wednesday.
The service operated for twenty days in September, but underwent maintenance for the rest of the month. All of its RVs, which cost 2,980 yuan per day, have been fully booked for the whole October.
Fifteen new ones are to be added to the fleet to catch up with market demand, according to the owner.
Each RV is 5.99 meters long, 2.4 meters wide and 3.2 meters high. With bicycle racks, couches, queen beds, dining tables, DVD players, refrigerators, LED TVs, closets for clothes and fully-equipped toilets, the vehicles make it feel as if you are living in a flat.
"They can hold at least five to six people," said Liao Feng, who is in charge of the service.
A man named Xu Guokang told CNS that he was very interested in the RV service for a family trip. Despite the high rent, he said, "My family can sleep, cook and move wherever we want in the RV."
"The only problem is security. We aren't 100% sure about sleeping while parked on the street," added Xu.
