Dalian (CNS) -- Thirteen French flight attendants, all born in the 1980s, have joined the China Southern Airline (CSA) after the first round of test, said the airline on October 26.

Jeanbatiste, the only male, said he was fascinated by the Chinese culture and is confident about the security and quality standards of CSA. He is proud to be a member of the airline, said the French native, who was born in 1985.

As the airline's first French employees, they will be mainly responsible for interpreting, and assisting flight services on the Guangzhou-Paris route.

Their trainings will not be completed till the end of November, which include knowledge about the A330 planes, aeromedicine, basic flight attendant services in all first, business and economy classes, as well as dangerous cargo and emergency disposition, swimming and simple conversations in Chinese.
