China women's national volleyball team completes final phase of training, November 1.

Beijing (CNS) -- China women's national volleyball team will strive for the qualification tickets to enter the 2012 Olympics, but its primary goal is top six, said head coach Yu Juemin, before the team heads for the 2011 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Cup, held in Japan from November 4 to 18.

The top three of all twelve teams in the upcoming World Cup, the first qualification game of next year's Olympics, will be guaranteed a ticket to the 2012 London Olympics.

Yu admitted the difficulty to be the top three.

"The overall strengths and current conditions of Brazil and the U.S. teams are better than ours," Yu said. "Plus, we'll have to compete with teams that are as competitive as our team, including Serbia, Italy, Germany and Japan."

Yu's team will meet its first rival from Algeria on November 4 in Hiroshima, and travel between Hiroshima and another two cities for altogether 11 games over the following two weeks.
