Jiangmen (CNS) – A 43-year-old judge committed suicide by jumping off his apartment building on November 5, which was probably caused by work-related stress, according to the Jiangmen Intermediate People's Court in south China's Guangdong Province.

On the evening of November 4, Li Bu'an, a judge of the court, had dinner with a few colleagues, who drove him home at around 10 p.m. None of his colleagues and relatives ever thought he would end his own life, though Li had mentioned repeatedly about his stresses, sources said.

Police found a will on Li's bedside table and a half-empty bottle of liquor in his bed.

Li moved to Jiangmen in 2003 with his family. He was said to be responsible for his job, and was described quiet and introverted.
