Shanghai (CNS) – The Chinese skating pair, Zhang Dan and Zhang Hao, won silver medal of pair skating in the third leg of the International Skating Union (ISU) Grand Prix of Figure Skating held in Shanghai on November 5.
Recovering from injuries not long before, the pair chose the Dance of Death as background music and finally scored 177.67.
Russian players Yuko Kavaguti and Alexander Smirnov claimed the championship with a score of 186.74.
As for the men's single, the U.S. player Jeremy Abbott became the gold medalist with a score of 228.49, followed by the silver medalist Japanese player Nobunari Oda and the bronze medalist Chinese player Song Nan.
Noted Italian player Carolina Kostner was the champion in women's single. Chinese player Zhang Kexin ranked fourth, China's best ranking ever.
