Shanghai (CNS) - The Global Chinese Centurial Family Photo Exhibition opened in Shanghai on Wednesday, with an extensive collection of Chinese family photos bearing profound family histories and touching stories.
70 photos are being exhibited at the Shanghai Public Art Center, and have been collected from the U.S., the Netherlands, Spain and Vietnam.
The photos were taken during historical moments over a span of a hundred years, starting from the Xinhai Revolution by Dr.Sun Yat-sen in 1911. They show a number of rare scenes, including a portrait of Xu Xilin and Lin Peng, who were both members of the Restoration League to push the Xinhai Revolution and ultimately reform China.
The exhibition lasts until December 19 and is free to the public.
