Beijing (CNS) -- The People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) will send a fleet to drill in the West Pacific at the end of this month, announced the Chinese military on November 23.
The Ministry of National Defense claimed the drill is an annual routine, not targeting any specific country or group. Faithfully abiding by international law and customs, China is entitled to freedom of navigation and other practices on certain waters, said the authority.
