Shanghai (CNS) - Spring Airlines started to sell tickets for flights from Shanghai to Saga for the first time on December 7, with price tags on one-way trips as cheap as 239 yuan. Spring Airlines is the only airline operating with a low-cost profile in China.
Spring Airlines bargain flights at less than 100 yuan for a one-way trip, which means 95 percent of its seats are almost invariably snapped up.
Japanese stewards manning the China-Japan flights are trained to provide the kind of services Japanese passengers expect, said Spring Airlines spokesman Zhang Wuan, adding that the Shanghai-Saga flights will take off on January 1 next year.
