Shijiazhuang (CNS) -- 13 sets of human twins celebrated the first birthday of twin giraffes "Pingping" and "An'an" at the Shijiazhuang Zoo during the weekend.
Their caregiver and handler Li Yan made a cake for the giraffe brothers using the ingredients of cabbage, carrots, apples and bananas.
In one year, the brothers will enter the courtship age and "marriages" will be arranged with their Miss Rights.
The first giraffe twins in China, also an international rarity, were born on December 17, 2010. One was 1.8 meters tall at birth and the other 1.9 meters.
