李娜苦战三盘战胜对手 晋级泛太平洋公开赛第三轮

2012东京泛太平洋网球公开赛25日展开单打次轮争夺，首轮轮空的赛会7号种子、中国选手李娜以2比1击败俄罗斯选手帕芙柳琴科娃，成功晋级第三轮。

Beijing (CNS) -- Former French Open champion Li Na beat Russia's Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova 7-5, 4-6, 6-2 on Tuesday to advance to the third round of the Pan Pacific Open tennis tournament in Tokyo.

"I am aimed at the finals this year" said Li, who battled a cough throughout the match. "Now I rank World No. 8. There is a little time left, so I will work harder."

Regarding her health, Li said she was not 100 percent well, but already much better than last week.

When asked about her new coach Carlos Rodriguez, who once guided Justine Henin to the world number one ranking, Li said the cooperation is pretty good, and that some of her moves have been technically improved to enhance her aggressiveness during play.
