Shares in the company rose to 33.11 yuan from the offering price of 22.99 yuan after its Shenzhen Stock Exchange debut on March 18. Lens Tech then closed at 70.98 yuan after soaring above the daily limit for eight consecutive trading days.
Zhou has surpassed Chen Lihua, a real estate tycoon with net assets of $6.1 billion.
