(ECNS) - China's two-time Grand Slam winner Li Na shared a picture of the footprint of her newborn daughter on the microblogging site Weibo early Wednesday morning.
The baby is named Alisa.
"My husband Jiang San and I are both very happy and love her," she says.
The post was forwarded 14,209 times and earned 60,202 "likes" three hours after going live.
The birth date of the baby coincides with that of Spain's well-known tennis player Rafael Nadal. As congratulation messages flood in, many Weibo users are asking if Li Na will turn her daughter into a future Grand Slam winner. Others are questioning why the Chinese baby was given an English name.
