(ECNS) - A marriage counseling company specializing in getting rid of "the other woman" charges as much as 100,000 yuan ($15,810) for a successful case, reported the West China Metropolis Daily on Wednesday.

Luo Rong, 32, from Sichuan Province, established the marriage counseling company in Chengdu in October 2014.

The company's services range from 10,000 to 100,000 yuan, while the highest fee has been as much as 120,000 yuan.

Luo has a law degree but gave up his law career to start the business. He saw an opportunity, as few people are working to help couples rid their marriages of mistresses.

With 20 staff from different ages and professional backgrounds, Luo's company now receives five to 10 cases a month and boasts an 80 percent success rate. A case is not declared "successful" until the mistress has not been involved for three to four months.

Nearly 230,000 couples filed for divorce in Chengdu in 2014, averaging one case every two minutes. In Sichuan, extra marital affairs are a factor in approximately half of all divorces, a fivefold increase over 14 years.
