(ECNS) -- Chinese Football Association has officially separated from the State General Administration of Sports amid reform efforts, People's Daily reports.
The reform program states that the association will set up internal departments and operate independently. It will include authorities dealing in salary administration, personnel management as well as international exchanges and cooperation.
Accordingly, it will not only be a social organization promoting the development of Chinese football, but also a self-regulatory body that will manage domestic football activities in accordance with relevant regulations and laws.
The Football Management Center will be disbanded and its four members employed in the association, it was added.
