(ECNS) -- A 15-year-old student suddenly fainted because of sudden cardiac arrest during a morning study session in Nanyang city, central China's Henan Province, and was declared dead on November 10, according to Shanghai Morning Post.
His father said Xuan Yunbo did his homework until 12 o'clock the night before and got up at 6: 20 in the morning, without any abnormalities.
It is reported that Xuan lived in a single-parent family and always studied hard. The father later wrote a memorial essay, regretting that he didn't stop the tragedy in time.
The story soon made a splash on WeChat. Some netizens suspect that the death is linked to too much homework, while some say there might be other reasons.
