(ECNS) -- Representatives attending the China-Russia Internet Media Forum and China-Russia New Media Youth Leadership Summit visited leading IT enterprises in Guangzhou's Tianhe district on Friday.
The visit has not only enhanced people-to-people exchanges but also created opportunities for collaboration between companies of the two countries.
Home to 530 national high-tech companies, Tianhe district in the South China metropolis boasts for its development in the cultural, creative and information industries.
Brands such as NINED, UCWeb and WeChat are becoming global ones with huge competitive advantage.
Due to such achievements by Guangzhou's Tianhe district in technological innovation and international exchanges, it was chosen as the venue of the forum, a major event of the 2016-2017 Sino-Russian Media Exchange Year, according to the organizer of the event.
