(ECNS) -- China's market regulator said 13,642 Rock 'n Play sleepers by Fisher-Price will be recalled in China as part of a global move by the company.
Fisher-Price recalled all of its 4.7 million Rock 'n Play sleepers, designed to rock, vibrate and play music, amid reports linking the product to at least 30 infant deaths in the past 10 years.
On Tuesday, the State Administration for Market Regulation said consumers were being urged to immediately stop using the product. Babies face the risk of suffocation under certain circumstances, such as when they roll from their backs onto their stomachs or sides.
