(ECNS) - China’s first nocturnal wildlife park opened in Shanghai Wild Animal Park on Thursday.
With an elaborate lighting system that matches well the landscape, the park will allow visitors to get a deeper understanding of the habitats of nearly 5,000 nocturnal animals from 100 species.
Visitors who find animals sleepy in the daytime might be surprised to know how active they are at night when they are busy foraging, running, fighting, and playing.
Leisure attraction programs include a water area to discover the life of swans, capybaras, the black-and-white ruffed lemur and cassowaries as well as a parade of animals that includes zebras, alpacas, and Asian elephants.
