(ECNS) -- China's National Immigration Administration on Thursday released official software for authenticating entry/exit permits.
The software allows information to be quickly scanned and verified through a mobile phone terminal or other equipment. It can be used in tourism, telecommunications, finance, transportation and other industries.
The software can read and verify information stored by the China Biometric Passport and Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents. Foreign passports and other entry/exit permits will soon be able to access it.
Users can download the certification software at https://szrz.nia.gov.cn/download/ to process electronic authentication.
