(ECNS) -- A 3-year-old girl was nearly dragged away by a wild monkey in Chengkou county, Southwest China’s Chongqing city on Tuesday. Fortunately, people nearby spot the accident and successfully rescued the girl in time.
The child's mother said that she was in the house that day while hearing a neighbor's shouts. The child was about 30 kilograms, so the money failed to drag her far away immediately.
Monkeys used to hit the elderly in the region before. The situation has been reported to the village committee and forestry bureau that day.
