Plane bursts into flames after running off runway at airport in Chongqing

(ECNS) -- A plane heading to Lhasa, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, ran off the runway and burst into flames at around 8 a.m. on Thursday morning at Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport, according to CCTV news.

The Chongqing branch of Tibet Airlines said an investigation is underway.
