Hainan to eliminate COVID-19 cases at community level by Friday

(ECNS) -- South China's Hainan Province announced that it will eliminate all COVID-19 cases at the community level as of Friday, according to its working group for response to COVID-19 on Monday.

The working group has analyzed the epidemic situation, pointing out that pandemic prevention and control are complex but developing in a positive direction.

The province has reported more than 1,000 confirmed COVID-19 cases as of Tuesday.
