(ECNS) -- China's Ministry of Commerce said Thursday it will protect the legitimate rights of Chinese companies after the U.S. added seven Chinese entities to its export control list.
The U.S. practice has seriously undermined normal economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and U.S. companies, posing a threat to international market rules, economic and trade orders, and the stability of global industrial and supply chains, said ministry spokesperson Shu Jueting at a news conference.
China is firmly opposed to the U.S. moves, which it should immediately revoke, Shu added.
