(ECNS) -- The seventh China-Eurasia Expo opened in Urumqi, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, on Monday.
Covering an exhibition area of 40,000 square meters, the expo has three zones featuring themes including investment cooperation and commodity trading.
The expo has attracted 23 top 500 enterprises from China and the world and another 110 leading enterprises.
During its four-day run, another six trade and investment promotion activities themed on the construction of the Silk Road Economic Beltcore area will be held. The promotion of high-quality industries and products from central Asian countries will also be held and over 300 projects will be signed.
Altogether 3,600 companies from 32 countries and regions will participate in the online expo.
Xinjiang has held six consecutive China-Eurasia expos, which have contributed to the connectivity, mutually beneficial cooperation, and common development of China and Eurasia.
